Christine Picavet (1951 – June 29, 2016) was a French-American painter and horsewoman.[1]

Picavet was born in Paris and grew up riding show horses before moving to Chantilly, where she galloped Thoroughbreds. She moved to the United States and was galloping for trainer Charlie Whittingham just before she retired from the saddle and focused on painting full-time. She lived in Fallbrook, California and was known for her paintings of great racehorses. Her sister Françoise is a painter.[2]
